What airlines was the plane
Harry West replied:
That was 60 years ago - before the local Sarasota airport became an International Airport. I don't recall the airline. I just "zoomed in" on the text at the bottom of the plane's door, and says "NATIONAL".

Great sketch, so many different shades and textures. Everything is independently defined and don’t become muddy anywhere, especially the dark suits, you can see the movement and everything. You are really talented. How long did that take you?
Harry West replied:
Thanks. As you can well see, that illustration was created many years ago. It was an art school b&w assignment. I received some "coaching" on this as, at the time, I was live-in apprentice for Thornton Utz, former Sat. Eve. POST cover illustrator. Hard to say at this time just how long it took. There was quite a bit of research for the plane, airport, and figures. I posed for the main figure. Utz took the photo.
